Hi, I 'm Melissa or 'Mel'....

I am an award winning and published photographer from Southern California. Born and raised in California, I am truly a California girl at heart. My passion and my heart is my family. They inspire everything I do. I have two daughters and a husband/best friend. We enjoy being outside whenever we can. Both my daughters are competitive horse back riders. We spend lots of time with our horse babies...and our dogs, our goats and cats. You could say I (we) have a thing for animals. If I'm not at the barn or golfing, I'm in the water, surfing, or sometimes swimming with my camera taking pictures. The ocean is my absolute favorite place to shoot. I'm most at home in the water or with animals. I absolutely love my job and the fact that I'm helping you create lasting memories makes my heart truly happy. Photographs are so important to me. They always have been. I grew up scrap booking and was the girl at the 1 hour photo at 45 minutes waiting for her printed pictures. Kids grow so fast, life changes and time passes but photographs can bring us back to those special moments in an instant. Make them beautiful, make them special and make them YOU.
